ICADV is currently seeking a full time Administrative Assistant to work in the ICADV office in Springfield, IL. There are no remote or telecommuting options for this position. This position is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support for the delivery of the training, technical assistance, public education and advocacy programs of ICADV. Day to day responsibilities will include: Supporting ICADV’s membership services through logistical planning, coordination for meetings, and responding to membership questions as needed; Collating and indexing various resources to post on website for distribution to various targeted audiences; Collating and shipping public education brochure orders and maintaining inventory records; Executing office management duties such as office supply ordering, checking in mail, monitoring incoming email/voice mail, referring incoming callers, and filing; and Providing other clerical support to ICADV team members as needed to improve the efficiency and quality of the organization’s services. To be successful in this position applicant must be extremely organized and have the ability to manage and prioritize daily tasks; must be able to work well in a team based environment and exercise conflict resolution methods which lead to proactive, positive solutions; must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 40 pounds; and must have sufficient computers skills to operate Microsoft Office Suite applications.
